For reasons unknown I have been late to the party in trying this site out on my iPhone. Simply put you add a Bookmarklet to your browser toolbar and use this to create a formatted text copy of the page you are viewing.
This can then be synced to your iPhone and used to read the pages off-line at your leisure.
Pure genius.
